About Me

Oh hi, didn’t see you there!

I’m Hannah — a writer, photographer, filmmaker, and MFA candidate studying Film & Media Arts at Temple University in Philadelphia. I have a journalism degree from the University of Illinois and years of writing experience that I’ve used to help build the worlds of my short films. I’m interested in creating work that highlights the magic in the mundane and the ordinary in the extraordinary.

Much of my work is shot on film and I’m currently experimenting with a range of alternative and historic photographic processes, including gum bichromate, hand-tinted silver gelatin prints, pinhole photography, and hand-painted 16mm film. I’m also working on a few different filmmaking projects and would love to hear from any potential collaborators.
